The FOOD-TRAK® System’s Catering module handles the recipe and menu plan side of catered events, an area generally weaker in most catering systems due to their lack of inventory and recipe sophistication. FOOD-TRAK® clients get the best of both worlds with the Catering Interface, since it provides food and beverage cost information to the catering system, and receives sales information from the catering system when the event is complete. Using FOOD-TRAK® for the food and beverage side of catered events allows the system to forecast ordering and schedule production with those events included.
